When we came up Addison discovered that Santa had visited our house last night! He had eaten the cookies and drank the milk, even left a note and of course presents!!! The reindeer had enjoyed the carrot we left out too.
It was really great to see that Addi understood what had happened. I explained to him that we would open the Christmas presents from Santa after church. To which he pointed at the empty plate and glass, the door (where we had left the carrot outside) and the Christmas tree saying “yeah, a-ha!!”.
When we got back we let the boys open some of their presents, mostly Addi’s. We decided to leave most of Preston’s until Nanny and Poppy joined us. Addison of course helped open Preston’s present from Santa.
