Addison went to his first show today, we all had a great time at the Mudgeeraba show. We didn’t quite know what to expect from the Mudgeeraba show, despite this being its 83rd year we had never been before. Daddy was actually supposed to do a 1 hour wood turning demonstration as his wood turning club were set up at the show. We all decided that we would go and good thing we did as Daddy didn’t end up having to wood turn so we could enjoy the show as a family.
Getting into the show from the carpark was a bit of an effort with the pram but we eventually made it. We had a good look at the entrants work from Daddy’s wood turning club, and got some good ideas of toys to make for Addi. We then had a look around at what was at the show, the food, the show bags and other stalls. We saw some sheep being sheered, then had some lunch while we watched the wood chopping.
We had another look around, got some fairy floss, some peanut brittle and lollipops (instead of a show bag) and then decided to head home. On our way out Daddy managed to push the pram through some horse poo!! Got it on all four wheels too, did a pretty good job of it lol!!
