This is my second mother’s day (not counting the one when Addi was in my tummy). We decided to spend the day with my Mum and Dad (Nanny and Poppy) since they are now back from their week away at Fiji!
We went for a picnic BBQ lunch in the park which always ticks the boxes for us. Nice food and of course play time for Addi!! It was the first time to use Nanny and Poppy’s new portable BBQ too, it was a success. It is great to have this, no need to worry about if the park has a BBQ or if it works (like last year’s Mother’s Day).
We had a really nice day together, catching up and hearing all the wonderful stories from Nanny and Poppy’s week away.
