Today is Granddad’s 64th birthday. Daddy just couldn’t wait to give him his gift from us, so he already did that when we arrived on Friday night. Daddy made his gift, two wood turned pens – a ball point and a roller ball. He bought a beautiful timber box to keep them in on his desk. (I didn’t get to take a photo, but I will make sure I do when we are back in Toowoomba).
First we went to church then we had plans for some birthday cake/morning tea back at home, a drive to the German Cuckoo Clock shop and some lunch at the cafe there. Being Sunday the markets were also on, so we had a little look there before heading into the Blackforest Cuckoo Clock Shop.
I did take my camera, but totally forgot to take any photos!! So I don’t have a picture of Addi with Granddad on his birthday or from the wonderful day we had.
