Christmas is nearly here! This is both wonderful, exciting and 100% chaos! There is so much to do on Christmas Eve. I’m one busy elf on Christmas Eve trying to make everything perfect for the big day tomorrow, plus exciting for the boys today. So much fun to cram into one day and preparation for Santa’s arrival.
There was crafting, gingerbread house making, Christmas movies, Santa cookies, reindeer food and Christmas books before bed, plus of course wearing Christmas PJs ready for the morning.
Then of course there are the Santa’s helper duties of wrapping and placing gifts. Oh and did I mention the construction of gifts! Yep, you guessed… Santa has left Daddy to put together the trampoline! Thanks Santa!
Here are the photos from today’s activities.
Notes about the day:
The craft reindeer didn’t get finished (maybe next year!), card making was a success however Prez couldn’t get the backing off the stickers on his own, the gingerbread house was put together by Mummy while holding baby Jasper! so it’s not brilliant, the movie was enjoyed with popcorn following dinner, Santa’s cookies were also enjoyed *wink wink*, Addi freaked out sprinkling the reindeer food because he heard a gecko and then realised there might be bugs outside!, we had a lovely time reading the book together (Addi and I also read the night before Christmas in bed – whispering so we didn’t wake Jasper), after realising she forgot to order the chicken for Christmas Mummy made a mad dash to the shops only to buy a pathetic over-priced excuse for a chicken (at least it was better than nothing – the things you do), the assistant elf (aka Daddy) that was supposed to be helping fell asleep on the lounge after wrapping 2 presents!! leaving head elf (aka Mummy) to run around doing it all on her own. What a day!
