My baby is all grown up. Today marks the first day of BIG school! Addison is starting prep and I couldn’t be more proud, excited and nervous for him. This is going to be a huge year! So many things to look forward to. It will be a massive adjustment, and a very busy schedule. Plenty of new activities to do, new people to meet and make friends with. The first day of his 13 year schooling journey!
Most parents get a little emotional and upset but I’m bursting with excitement. Addison has been ready for this for so long and if he knew what lay ahead of him his eyes would light up and have that amazing spark I see all so often. I see so much of myself in him and these photos. I know he’s going to love school just like I did!
Here are the happy snaps I took to remember this very special day. You’ll notice that there isn’t one standing next to our front door… that’s because our renovations and construction has started! So we don’t really have a front door at the moment (more on that to come!).
