Where did that week go?!? With all these public holidays lately I can’t keep up. I’m 15 weeks today and really don’t have all that much to report. I honestly feel like the last week just disappeared in the blink of an eye.
It has been a couple of weeks since my ultrasound, she actually said that I may begin to feel the baby moving a lot earlier than most so I’m waiting for the quickening. It is meant to feel like butterflies or some sort of fluttering sensation when the baby is moving and doing somersaults, I guess I will just have to wait and see to tell you about that one. I just hope I will notice it and not just think it is some random feeling. I suppose I will know when it happens.
It is really strange to be experiencing this all for the first time, I hate the feeling of not knowing what is normal and what isn’t. All the research in the world can’t help you to know what something actually feels like.
By now the baby will be more than 120 mms long from crown to rump and weigh almost 110 grams. What I am looking forward to is the baby being able to hear my voice and other noises in a couple of weeks. At the moment the baby’s ears are close to reaching their final position, but it won’t be until week 18 that the baby can actually hear me. This baby business is such a waiting game
