Time seems to be flying by now, today I am 14 weeks pregnant. Only 6 weeks now to wait and we will hopefully be finding out the sex of Jellybean at our next ultrasound, I don’t think anything will be able to ruin that day for me! Although the external sex organs are now different it is still too soon to know what I am having, so the wait is on.
Some of the baby’s muscles are now starting to work as well, this week the baby can squint, frown and even suck its thumb! It even jerks its body, bends its arms and legs and can have the hiccups.
The second trimester starts from the 14th week of pregnancy and the risk of miscarriage drops significantly in this trimester, so I’m very glad to finally be there.
