Today we had our first appointment with our OB Dr Bopp (the same Ob as we had for our pregnancy with Addison). He was wonderful the first time and so there was no reason we should change. Dr Bopp did our first official ultrasound today and we got to see our baby squiggle for the first time. It’s always the most exciting thing!! He confirmed that our EDD is 9 November 2012, the ultrasound actually put at us the 10th, but at this stage we will just go based on the dates.
Our baby is doing well and has a strong heart beat, all good news. Dr Bopp also thought that the bleeding was probably just implantation bleeding and nothing to worry about. I’m looking forward to the end of the first trimester and hopefully starting to feel a little bit better. At the moment I guess I will just keep struggling on, it’s not as bad as what some people experience so I have to be thankful for that.
We have our NT Scan booked in which will probably alter the dates by a day or so again depending on the growth of our little one. That is all booked for the end of the month and I can’t wait.
