What a wet day!! We really wanted to take Addi to the park or somewhere fun today as a family but it was rainy and when it wasn’t raining it meant the play equipment would be wet. Something we have been wanting to do for a little while is to go to an indoor play center. We have a Smileez right up the road from where we live, so thought we would give it a go. It was so very busy. I guess because of the rain, but there were also a couple of birthday parties on which meant it was even more crazy.
We took Addi into the under three’s play area and Addi was hesitant at first. Like what he always does, he watched the other kids for a little bit and was very cautious. Unfortunately there is always good reason for Addi being so cautious of the other children. As we all know not all kids are as sweet and well behaved as our little Addison. One of the first things that happened at the play center was a little girl (much older than Addi, three or more) pushed my little boy over!!! Addi was just looking at some of the play equipment and she wasn’t planning on sharing, so what does any naughty little girl do…push the other kid over before he can try to use it :(.
It was so upsetting to watch. It was lucky that I restrained myself, she made me so mad and made me feel like pushing her over!! Mummy would have got herself kicked out of the play center lol. I wish I could have worked out which one was her parent, because boy would I have given them a piece of my mind!
After this incident Addi went and played on his own. He’s a funny kid, the first thing out of all the toys there he went for a book! After that he started tidying up the toys. He sure is different!!
He wasn’t sure of the ball pit at first but eventually he warmed up to it. Even going down the slide and diving into the balls head first. He seemed to have a good time playing with the toys. I do however think that the $8.50 admission for a 1-2 year old is a bit steep considering that a child of that age can’t really use much of the equipment there. I think when he’s older he will have heaps of fun climbing and playing on the rest of the equipment.
I love Addi’s new haircut! He looks so handsome
She did a really good job, he looks like a real little boy now…so very grown up hehe
