The one person in all this that we had no idea how he would react to there being a new little person in the house was Preston. We knew that Addi would be fine from past experience (he’s actually more than fine, he totally adores Jasper) but as for Prez, it was unknown territory.
Low and behold he’s 100% in love with him. He loves giving him kisses and cuddles, giving him constant attention. Quite different than how Addi was when Preston first came home (if you remember Addi was very nervous, shy and a little scared to go near the new baby at the same age as Preston is now). For many people, bring a new baby home can cause a lot of tension and change the family dynamic. Quite often the existing children can be jealous of all the time that mum and dad are now spending with the baby. So far so good, Preston doesn’t seem jealous of Jasper at all.
