I love getting coupons in the mail from being a VIP Spotlight memeber. Since I’m quite a crafty person and located over the road from my local Spotlight store, you can imagine I like to visit quite frequently. I even walk over there sometimes just to see what’s new, or if they have any interesting clearance items. Of late I have been looking in a section of the store that I had never had a reason to before… the baby section of course!
After receiving a $10.00 off voucher to use on my next Spotlight purchase I decided to go for a walk over and pick from some clearance items I had seen recently in the baby department. I found a wonderful wool quilt that had been reduced to $20.00 and two little baby pillows on clearance for $3.00 each. Not a bad purchase all up for $16.00 after my discount voucher.
The next step for me and an idea that I’ve been toying with is to make my own quilt cover! Having never made a quilt before I thought it might be best to start out a little more simple and make a cover instead. Plus this is much easier to wash and will go perfectly with my new bargain wool quilt!
