Following the boys birthday party we set up the playpen in the lounge area and made a section for Preston. Addi calls it Pressie’s play room, but it’s of course for both the boys. It just happened that with some new toys (and Lego) for Addi it was needed to keep Pressie separate from the big boys toys. He’s not much of a fan of being locked in despite the fact that it has all his toys, but will stay in there for a very long time if you sit with him. If he’s playing on his own, he’d rather have the freedom to get into mischief!
These are a couple of photos of Preston playing at his little red table. When I first set up this area, Preston decided to use the chairs (that go with the table) to climb up onto it (in an attempt to escape I think!!), so I promptly removed them to avoid him doing that in the future. Little monkey!!! Can’t even walk yet and he’s climbing on things. All well and good, except he’s got no idea how to get down safely!
