It’s official, the invitations for Squiggle’s baby shower were sent out today. Here they are. I of course made them myself, guests can enjoy a cuppa with the included teabag to get ready for the afternoon high tea baby shower.

Do you have instructions on how to make this invitation?
How did you make the the label? How is the bow attached? Is the invitation double sided? I’m trying to figure out where the tea bags go…
Thank you for your time =)
Haha look at all the questions Ok so first step was to make a teapot template. Believe it or not I actually used wall paper samples for my teapots but obviously any pretty paper (the thicker the better) will do. It’s backed with just a plain coloured piece of paper. I’ve used narrow double sided tape right around the outside to join the front teapot to the backing, so that it makes a pocket. There is a slit in the front teapot where you can put the tea bag. (you remove the normal teabag tag and replace it with a custom one, I made “relax and enjoy”). The bow is just double sided taped to the front (i love the stuff, swear by it). And by label I am guessing you mean the front bit on the invitation?? I’ve just made that in photoshop myself. I should still have all the files for this invitation, if I can dig them up I’m happy to save them as a pdf for you and send them through. Let me know if you would like this. You can get in touch with me on my email melissa@lissylane.com. Sorry for the delay in reply to you too, I didn’t receive a notification of your post and I’ve been busying building a website for a brain cancer foundation over the last two weeks. Hope that helps Cynthia! Thanks for your enquiry!!
Hi again, I’ve just put this together and emailed it to you. But in case you don’t get it due to spam filters here it is to download. http://www.pregnancybabychild.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/01/Teapot-Invitations.pdf It includes everything you need to make the invitations. Good luck!
