I’ve been meaning to post this for so long, but keep running out of time. As you know as part of my blog I like to post the patterns I make on the site for others to use and make for their little ones. I received an email at the beginning of the year from Carolyn, a lady who had found my turtle pattern on pinterest. She sent me a photo of her creations and I wanted to share it with you all.

Carolyn's Turtle Creations

You can see the smaller turtle in her photo that she made using my pattern. Carolyn used polar fleece instead of felt, which is a fantastic alternative!! She also created a larger turtle by enlarging the pattern onto tissue paper. She used a sewing machine for the larger one (except for the blanket stitching on top) which makes it such a fast and easy project for anyone to make for their little one!!

Thanks so much for sharing your creations with us Carolyn, so glad that you were able to make use of the turtle pattern.

If you would like to give making a turtle a go, check out the pattern here on the website: http://www.pregnancybabychild.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/10/Turtle-Rattle-Pattern.pdf or some of our other free patterns here: http://www.pregnancybabychild.com/about/free-downloads/patterns/

Why not try making some of your own alterations to suit your needs like Carolyn!! She didn’t need a rattle but was able to adapt the pattern to suit her needs :).
