I wanted to share with you this wonderful artwork created on my friend Bec’s pregnant belly! Bec’s mum Sharyn does face painting normally but what a great way to celebrate her daughter’s pregnancy than with this wonderful decoration of her belly.
Being very arty and crafty myself, I love this idea. As soon as I saw the photos I just had to share them with you all, they really made me want to have my own baby belly painted. Shame there really isn’t the time.

I have also thought many times about making a plaster cast of my pregnant tummy and painting that as a keepsake, but I just don’t know where I would put the finished work when it is done. I had forgot about the idea until I saw these photos, maybe I’ll still do it if Addison hasn’t shown up by week 39.
