I’ve now been fully booked for the birth of Addison, expected around the 28th October. All of the hospital paperwork has been completed and lodged after my doctors appointment today. We have also paid the private health insurance excess with the hospital so we are good to go!

I’ve also read through what to expect from my hospital stay and delivery which I do have a couple of questions about, however these will be answered when I visit the maternity ward for the first time. My stay will be for 3 days if I have a natural delivery (which is what I will be aiming for) or 5 days if I have to have a c-section or other type of delivery.

We also start our antenatal classes at the hospital from the first week of August which I’m really looking forward to. August is set to be a very busy month with both our holiday to Cairns and our antenatal classes, I have a feeling that time is going to fly by.
