A fun filled day in Ipswich today. After moving back to Melbourne we were buzzing with excitement to hear that Bec, Troy and Ruby had come for back to Queensland for a week. So Addi and I took the opportunity to have a play date with Ruby and a good catch up with friends. One of our other friends Jodie is pregnant with her second baby due in one week and also lives in Ipswich, so we thought we would pay her and her daughter Lily (who turns 2 on my birthday) a visit.
After remembering my camera this time it does help to remember to charge the battery!!! I was so disappointed, I only got to take 4 photos of Addison and Ruby before the camera’s battery died 
At least I got a couple. I was going to take some with Bec’s mum’s camera but you wouldn’t believe it…the battery died on the first attempt to take a photo!!! I guess it is just my luck!
Addi was getting very tired by the afternoon and I thought I better get going to see Jodie and Lily before he got too cranky. Lily was waiting for us at the door going “Addi! Addi! Addi!!” it was just too cute!! What a wonderful welcome. They have only just moved back to Queensland from Sydney so this was the first time that I got to meet Lily, and what a pleasure it was. A darling little girl!! Jodie and her husband Mark have done such a great job raising her, I can’t wait to visit again. They both liked the gifts I bought for the new baby and Lily. Addi perked right up when we were there and played happily with Lily for an hour. What a wonderful day we had in Ipswich visiting friends, well worth the long drive!
