Each night we take Addi down into his bedroom for some playtime before bed. We pulled out a toy that he hadn’t played with before and were encouraging him to crawl to it.
He has been crawling backwards for a while now but tonight was the first time that he has been able to move forward! We are so proud of our little boy and excited that he is finally getting the idea about moving forward. He was getting up on all fours which was so wonderful to see. He still seems to have his own way of crawling, by trying to pull himself along more than using his legs.
We made a game out of him crawling to the toy, by clapping and cheering every time he reached it, moving it away from him and making him crawl towards it. He started to really like the game and would giggle every time we cheered and clapped at him.
It won’t be long and I’ll have to keep a very close eye on this boy of ours! We got some photos of this wonderful moment, and also some video. Here are the photos I’m so proud to share with you all!!
