Today was one of those days that was sent to try my patience. Addi and I have been trying to get out of the house more often, going for walks, visiting family and friends, going to the shops and for drives to places. We had a few things that we needed to get done today and so we both go ourselves ready and off we went.
First stop was for petrol then onto the library in Nerang. We found a park at the library, got the pram out and Addi strapped in, walked to the door to find that there were work men fixing the lift! That was ok, we went back to the car, put the pram away, minimised what I had to carry (purse, library books to return, etc) by putting it all into one bag and picked Addi up. Got back to the door and they were finished and the lift was now working!! Anyway we struggled our way through, returned books, found some more books and checked them out.
Next we had to go and stop in to pay some money for the foam we got on the weekend for the ottoman project. Then we decide to check out spotlights 20% off sale. At this point nothing bad happened, we actually helped a person that had dropped their wallet and hadn’t noticed by returning it to them.
It was now time to head to the post office and pick up a parcel that we missed on Monday when we were visiting Nanny. Turns out we had the wrong post office!!! So still no package, I guess it will just have to wait. Bread, then home after a trying day! Addi just couldn’t stand the in and out of the car, so it was nice to finally get home.
