I have no idea where the last two years have gone but boy oh boy did this year go fast! It seems like only recently that we were planning and celebrating his first birthday and now he is two already. I suppose that we just keep so busy that time really does fly by us. I’m so thankful that I have so many wonderful photos to look back on from the last year and take a moment to remember the special times we have shared together.
Today Addison is no longer my baby boy, he’s a young man! Mummy’s big two year old!! I’ve noticed so many changes recently and how he is growing up so very fast. Sometimes I just wish he would slow down a tad and let me enjoy this time but on the other hand I just love to watch him learn so many new things.
He is constantly growing and developing every day and manages to surprise me constantly by doing something wonderful and new. Every day he seems to show me just a little bit more of who Addi is and the young man that he is growing into. I couldn’t be more proud!
“What an incredible two years! We have had our upsets but boy do we make up for those rough times in happy ones!! Addison lights up my world, he sure does bring a smile to your face even in the darkest times. He’s our bright light on a dark day. And I’m the luckiest Mummy in the world to have such a wonderful, kind hearted special little guy to call my son. Happy birthday my beautiful boy. Mummy and Daddy love you so very much xoxoxoxoxoxox”
As normal on his birthday I like to take a lot of photos to remember the day and to capture what he is like at that stage of life. Something that I saw on another blog that I read was putting your child’s likes and dislikes along side a photo of them at a particular age. I’m going to go back and do this very soon for Addison and of course for Squiggle when he arrives. Thankfully I write down so much that doing this for some special age milestones shouldn’t be too difficult.
Here are the photos of Addi having a blast playing with a couple of balloons I blew up for some birthday fun. I love how something so simple like a balloon can make a little kid so very happy!
