Back to the craft of making Addi some special little toys, this time a little felt owl to play with. This was again made based on a photo I found online which I thought was just too cute for my little boy to not have one! Here is the finished little owl, I really think Addi will like him.
Felt Owl Soft Toy
He’s made out of lots of felt pieces to make the feathers, sewn onto a felt base. In my searches I actually found the website that has the instructions of how to make a felt owl like the one on the inspirational picture I used to make mine. They use a styrofoam ball for the inside and only glue the felt on.
Since mine is for a baby I wanted to make sure he could squeeze and grab hold of the toy easily and wanted to avoid using glue to hold things on. So I have naturally used toy filling instead and stitched all the felt securely.
