
Addi’s favourite part of the zoo were the bird enclosures. He just loves all the birds. I can see why, they are so beautiful.

After watching Zac have a feed (and then typically Addi having a feed with him – there’s no place Addi hasn’t had a breast feed!!) we headed over to see and touch the baby alligator. What an experience!! I just love the look on Addi’s face when he sees something Read More ...
As the title suggests, as part of the talk on crocodiles they also got in there and fed their biggest crocodile named Zac. Boy was he big!!!

These photos really crack me up. Around the Cairns zoo they have signs with cut out holes so you can take your photo and keep them as a momento of your visit to the zoo. The first one that we came across was the crocodile picture. Addi of course was Read More ...
After the talk about the koalas and wombats finished we went off exploring the other exhibits. Next we came across the turtles and lizards. They were pretty cool, especially the turtles that were playing stacks on!
