After the tour we had just enough time for a rest before the free flight bird show started. A good oportunity for Addi to explore, sit with Poppy and have a drink of water.  

As part of the tour, the zoo keeper also took as through more of the bird enclosures. Here are the photos from the second bird enclosure.

Next we took a tour of the zoo and as part of it Mummy and Poppy got to feed the pelicans. We threw fish to the pelicans to catch and eat. Mummy threw two fish, but the silly pelican missed the second fish and it went into the water for the   Read More ...

We were waiting for Poppy when all of a sudden I spotted a peacock walk by, so what did I do…chase it to get some good photos of course!!!

Addi’s favourite part of the zoo were the bird enclosures. He just loves all the birds. I can see why, they are so beautiful.  

Next we went into the kangaroo enclosure, you can walk right up to them and even feed them by hand! (we will do this when we come back in a day or two). They were pretty funny, they are not in the least worried about all the people that are   Read More ...
